The large budget for this programme attracted serious competition in this field, which Tender Experts were able to overcome. The technical nature of the bid, the logistics and working to meet the exacting demands of huge governmental departments such as DFID, challenged our bidding experts.
In addition, working with an international team of bid managers posed challenges of adapting to their various skill sets, proficiencies and language abilities. The logistics of the project were demanding due to the difference in time zones and communications were hampered by the reliance on satellite phone technology in undeveloped, under resourced, remote locations.
The bid teams we were training resided in ungoverned territories and tribal zones, some affected by war. This led to communication issues and the practicalities of delivering the training were complex. We were able to meet these challenges and deliver high quality bid training, which their teams then deployed successfully to secure funding.
