  • To establish new community based clinics to provide the best treatment and patient experience for pain management in musculoskeletal pathways. To provide efficient care pathways to patients and ensure they are seen for their condition at the right time, encouraging one stop shops that would reduce costs, reduce congestion in secondary care settings and help prevent hospital admissions.

  • They were successfully awarded the contract.

The Challenges:

Our client was required to extend their premises structurally to meet the demands of the contract because patient numbers were projected to rise significantly.

The challenges of coordinating a one stop shop were considerable because healthcare is so fragmented. Our client had to negotiate with orthopaedic consultants, rheumatologists, Occupational Therapists, a whole range of disparate specialists and it was hard getting that to work together. We supported our client to navigate these challenges and express clearly in the bid how they would be tackled.
