The challenges on this contract were not focused on the practicalities of delivering electrical services, but rather on the difficulties of working in a complex social environment where instances of substance abuse, unaccompanied minors and illegal immigrants were possibilities.
It was important the providers of the electrical service had appropriate contingencies and planning in place, in the event of encountering such situations in the course of their work.
A series of ‘What If?’ scenarios were agreed upon, to ensure appropriate behaviours and response protocols were followed.
